Wut just happened?
Request from StarLight158 of her dragon, Alythia (in blue) and her boyfriend's, Lunaris (in white). So here's the stuff I can't explain good because why am I conscious? She wanted the picture to commemorate their 5th anniversary, hence the fifth on that planet which is apparently also the 5th planet in our solar system (lol accidents). And yes! They are the 9 planets (DAMMIT, I LOVE YOU PLUTO, NEVER BE LOST AGAIN)... and they are also ornaments because it is Christmas time! Also note the correct mistletoe (correct as in it's the right fricking plant, not holly and it's red berries of lies). Why am I awake right now? Anyway, I also decided I wanted Christmas lights, and originally I was going to toss them around in yellow to look like stars, but then for some unknown reason, I threw down the red and green ones on the floor and I liked it so it stayed. LOOK AT THAT GLOWEH. I even liked this one well enough that I added my crappy signature to the bottom. Like for realz.
I know it sounds like I'm on drugs right now, but I do hope you like this. If there's anything that needs to be changed, (hopefully only minor things o-o) I might be able to get to it tomorrow morning. As you can probably tell, I should not be awake right now.
Maybe I'll translate this into sane tomorrow morning as well.
Clarifications of a well rested mind:
The reason I chose to make the ornaments planets is because Lunaris and Alythia are, as their owners refer to them, "The star and the moon." So the space theme seemed to be a must in my mind. As for the mistletoe rant, I read quite a while ago that people nearly always draw holly instead of mistletoe, and I like to be correct. Anyway, I have no idea how this looks so good, especially since I went into it with no idea what I was gonna do for a background.
Otherwise, I know I've gone slightly out of order with my requests, but I do have the lineart for Volt's request done and he isn't having his anniversary today. I'll probably get his colored.... Thursday-ish? Maybe Wednesday depending on how tired I am.
